DESCRIPTION
We see a Central Russian landscape – the large wooden house on the piles in the spring full-flowing river and a small white-stone monastery with the fortress wall and the cupolas of the churches in the background. The June sun fills with gold the houses and the light wooden bridge, which has been destroyed by the flood and which reflection fractionizes the blue color of the river. The bright colors, large forms, prolonged strokes create the feeling of the endless summer day, the longest one in such a short warm season.
