DESCRIPTION
The picture depicts a Russian village by the river in March. The snow has almost melted. Only the booms are still capped by the thick and loose snow. The spring bright sun illuminates the bare tree trunks, the river set free from the ice, the walls of the wooden houses. The ground charged with moisture is rapidly getting more and more warm ocher. The bottomless river and the high blue sky breathe the air of the spring, which is slowly but imminently gaining power.
