DESCRIPTION
Every landscape of the artist is a kind of a quiet and heartfelt story. It is a story about life, touching the soul, making think. The picture “Deserted House” seems to be the best in this series. It has everything: a Russian landscape with some wooden houses along a small river, the grasses in the foreground, the stormy sunset sky. The picture also tells us about the village life which rather quiet based on the traditions and centuries-old principals, though incapable of meeting the challenge of the mighty time. The philosophical canvas “Deserted House” is full of sadness about the frailty and shortness of this life which is only a moment in the face of eternity.
