DESCRIPTION
We see the typical autumn landscape with the dark houses and coloured roofs, holding the lead heavy sky, ready to pour down cold rain or early snow. The blind fences are depicted amid trembling translucent trees, bushes and emerald grass, contrasting with the frost covering the road. The main figure of the canvas, after which the painting is called “White Friend”, is the white fluffy dog standing motionless on the road, looking like a fairy guard, watching its territory.
