DESCRIPTION
The old chapel is named after the patron for hunters and it is the place of repose for Leonardo da Vinci. It looks like it grows out of the rock impaling clouds with its steeple and rising above the medieval town like a bridge between heavens and the mundane Earth life. The blue stripe of Loiret splits green-yellow fields and continues beyond the horizon. A sunny day in the old Amboise town captures the spectator. We want to stay there and wander in our minds down the medieval narrow streets, warm under gentle sunshine and tilt our heads back to take in the impressive majesty of the Chapel.
