DESCRIPTION
Walls of the old Château de Villandry are reflected in the water of the moat. Of course the castle has lost its defensive meaning long ago and now it is the greatest component of the romantic view of the park ensemble. The water of the moat fractionizes reflections of the sky, the castle, greenery of the trees and creates a new reality – rather than romantic, magically-illusive.
