DESCRIPTION
The rock and the sea are two powers united together. The first one is motionless and seems eternal, but due to the power of water and air it slowly changes its outlines, retreating in the face of the sea wave which seems calm and stroking the shore stones and at the same time being furious and unrestrained. This unity of opposites reflects the mighty power of the nature depicted by the artist Dmitry Ermolov in his canvas “Sea rocks”.
