The canvas “Pink Cloud” by Sergei Nekrasov is very traditional for Russian contemporary painting in terms of its mood, painting  technique and forms. We see the contrast of the colorful planes with a tendency to soft transitions of tones, and something similar to the drawing language such as thin lines, harsh outlines of the objects, theatrics and the scale of the main figure. All these produce the  impression of timelessness.
