DESCRIPTION
Though called “Summer’’ the painting is full of poetic sadness. The bright colors, the broad background brushstrokes, the golden sun beams, matting the hair of the model and stroking the skin of her face and hands just emphasize how fragile and vulnerable this young woman is. She seems to be deep in her silent thoughts, closed to people and keep her heart secrets from the viewers. Looking at this canvas it seems that the artist has managed to enter her soul and to answer her silent question.
