DESCRIPTION
The subject of the work is quite simple – a motley multicolored rooster sits on the fence that is supported with giant heads of sunflowers. In this work we can feel Julia’s “monumental mind”: the powerful modeling of volumes, the precision of the composition that is decorative by form and realism to the core, and bright and lively color, of course. Blinding sunshine beams fill the petals of the sunflowers with the gold of a Summer day, the sullying giant leaves with saffron blinks and give noble shine to the feather of the poultry. Under these beams the paints come to life, the sound and the Summer enters the canvas with confidence.
