The awkward age is like a bridge between carefree childhood and romantic youth. It includes many discoveries and changes to a person still formed. Julia has precisely brought to the picture the slight feeling of gawky in the beauty yet to be born; she shows us her love and unfeigned interest in the contemporary model’s inner experience and aspiration.
